Hayley Tiller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working within the field since 2007. Hayley graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 2009 with a Masters in Social Work with a primary focus in casework and substantive area of women’s and children’s issues. She became licensed in 2012. Hayley has worked with people of all ages facing many issues, but has special interest in anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges and family or couples issues. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, residential settings and outpatient clinics. Hayley utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a backbone for her work with clients but tailors her approach to meet the needs of each specific client. She believes a therapeutic relationship grounded in mutual respect is key and encourages client feedback. She employs humor, art and other creative therapies, as well as mindfulness to assist clients in building skills to manage whatever may bring them into the office.
